Welcome to Northeast Ohio FIT (a USA FIT program)! We are a training program for anyone who wants to train for and complete a fall marathon or half marathon. Back again this year is a 5K and 10K training program. It will offer the same style training as our traditional marathon and half marathon program, meaning you will train over a long season, building miles and confidence. The target 5K and 10K races will occur early October, and the marathon and half marathon will target the Akron Marathon.

Even though our target event is the Akron Marathon/Half Marathon, our members participate in a variety of fall running events.  If you’ve never run a step before, training with our group will help you conquer mental and physical barriers you never thought possible.

We start wherever you are. Couch potato? Seasoned marathoner? Great. No matter what your conditioning or pace, there will be others to train with. Over the course of six short months, our coaches will help achieve your personal best in a non-intimidating, fun, and safe environment.

As a member of Northeast Ohio FIT, you’ll receive:

Trail run day 2012
